A house of contemporary directed-AI works.

aworldofart is a curated AI-art house. The studio publishes editioned print works in a new medium. We do not run a generator. We do not host other people's prompts. We do not sell access to a model. We publish bodies of work.

Every collection on this site began with a curatorial brief — a thesis, a set of references, a palette, a plate sequence. The studio directed the generation, then made the same editorial decisions a print house has always made: which images survived, in what size, on what paper, in what edition. The medium is new. The discipline is old.

How a plate gets made

For every plate that ships, the studio generates approximately thirty candidates inside a defined brief. The curator reviews against the collection's stated palette, composition rules, and reference set. Twelve candidates per collection survive to become the body of work.

Survivors are then exported at print-grade resolution, color-checked against the palette, and sent to print partners. Each print ships with a plate card noting the collection, plate number, edition policy, and paper specification.

Edition policy

Open editions are available in standard print sizes (12×16, 18×24, 24×36) on matte and semi-gloss papers. The 36×48 size on cotton rag is sold as a numbered edition of fifty per plate. Beyond fifty, that variant retires. The studio does not delete plate files — open editions continue — but the numbered tier is the only signed and counted variant.
